Conferences

Conferences are a geographical or mission-based group of congregations within each Synod. 

Each conference is led by a bishop-appointed pastor of one of the conference congregations who gathers the conference rostered ministers periodically and shares information of the synod and the ELCA with the congregations. The Southwestern Washington Synod has 10 geographical conferences and 1 made up of ministers is specialized settings, like chaplaincies, etc.
