Growing in Faith – The Art of Becoming
Join the Southwestern Washington Synod Women of the ELCA for our 36th Annual Convention, a day to gather in community, grow in faith, and explore the ongoing art of becoming the people God calls us to be.
This year’s convention will feature Pastor Beth Utto-Galarneau as our presenter, along with time for fellowship, connection, reflection, and the shared work and ministry of Women of the ELCA.
Whether you’ve been involved with Women of the ELCA for years or are looking for a new way to connect with women of faith from across the synod, you are invited to be part of this special day.
Featured Presenter: Pastor Beth Utto-Galarneau
Ordained in 1993, Pastor Beth Utto-Galarneau served congregations in Palo Alto and South Lake Tahoe, California, before returning home to Washington in 2002 to pastor Amazing Grace in Aberdeen. Since 2012, she has co-pastored St. Mark Lutheran Church in Lacey with her spouse, Eric.
As a pastor, Beth feels deeply honored to walk alongside people through life’s joys and challenges. She is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma and taught elementary school before entering seminary at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
Beth and Eric have two young adult children, Grace and Isaiah. She loves creating and experiencing art, especially pottery, spending time in creation, and being with loved ones.
